 Greetings Drug Court Coordinators,

 As many of you know, the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) held their 15th Annual Training Conference last week. As part of the conference festivities, the NADCP conducted a contest for purposes of recognizing the state that best represented National Drug Court Month and this year’s theme,  “Celebrating Twenty Years of Drug Court: Restoring Lives, Reuniting Families and Making Communities Safer”.

On behalf of the State of Florida, the Office of the State Courts Administrator in concert with the Florida Association of Drug Court Professionals and the Eleventh Judicial Circuit entered the contest. I recently received great news, and I am pleased to inform you that the State of Florida won this year’s award! Florida’s efforts to recognize National Drug Court Month were highlighted at the conference.  Thank you to Judge Giselle Pollack who accepted the award on Florida’s behalf.

I would like to thank all of you who participated in making the 20th anniversary of drug courts a success!
